Reggiani Named Lamborghini Head Of Motorsport

Lamborghini Squadra Corse has named Andrea Reggiani as its new head of motorsport.

The Italian-Swiss engineer replaces Rouven Mohr in the role, after Mohr held the position on an interim basis, on and off, since Giorgio Sanna left Lamborghini in 2024 and Maurizio Leschiutta departed following a short stint at the end of 2025. Mohr will continue in his original post as chief technical officer, with Reggiani reporting directly to him.

Reggiani is joining Lamborghini after spending over seven years at Dallara. He has also previously worked for Ferrari, including as its head of Corse Clienti and North American director of motorsports.

The Swiss-Italian joins at a significant moment for Lamborghini’s motorsport programme, with its new Temerario GT3 set to make its racing debut tomorrow in the 12 Hours of Sebring. Reggiani will be responsible for the development of Lamborghini’s motorsport models and the commercial management of its racing activities, as well as its Essenza SCV12 trackday-only programme.

At the same time, the brand has announced stability across the continental single-make Super Trofeo championships. Erik Skirmants (North America), Federica Teneggi (Europe) and Francesco Scardoni (Asia-Pacific) will each continue in their roles as motorsport activity coordinators in their respective regions.

“It is a true honour to join Lamborghini as Head of Motorsport. I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and proud to join a company with such an extraordinary heritage, and that represents passion, performance and bold innovation at the highest level,” Reggiani (pictured below with Skirmants and Teneggi), said.

“Together with the talented people who make Lamborghini unique, I look forward to building on this strong foundation and help writing the next chapter in our racing history striving for new milestones that will excite our clients, our partners and our fans around the world.”

Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s current chief technical officer, added: “We are delighted to welcome Andrea Reggiani to the Lamborghini family heading into the new season, one which marks the start of a new chapter for the brand with the introduction of the new Temerario GT3 on the world stage, starting with the Sebring 12 Hours this weekend.

“His significant motorsport expertise and know-how was something that appealed strongly to Squadra Corse and aligns perfectly with the brand’s long-term strategic plans. I am sure he will lead Lamborghini to even more successes in the coming years, most notably in some of the most prestigious GT3 championships but also in our highly successful one-make Super Trofeo platform.”
