Team Qatar achieved a remarkable milestone by securing first place in the 992-AM class, in addition to finishing second overall in the 992 category, at the Michelin 12H Spa-Francorchamps race held at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, as part of the European 24H Series, from April 16 to 19.
This well-deserved success came after a strong and outstanding performance from the team’s drivers—Abdullah Al-Khelaifi, Ahmed Al-Emadi, and Faisal Al-Yafei—who excelled in the 992-AM class, demonstrating their high level of preparedness and ability to compete in some of the toughest endurance races on the European stage.
The team made an impressive start to the weekend by securing second place in their class during Friday’s qualifying session, strengthening their chances of fighting for the lead from the very beginning of the race.
Throughout the race, the team maintained strong performance thanks to excellent driver synergy, a well-executed strategy, and the car’s reliable mechanical performance. This led them to secure victory in the 992-AM class, while also finishing second overall in the 992 category, proudly stepping onto the podium and raising the Qatari flag at this international event.
