Team Qatar GT is set to begin its 2026 campaign in the European Le Mans Series, with Round 1 taking place at the renowned Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from April 10 to 12.
The team arrived in Barcelona last week to take part in the official Prologue pre-season test, using the sessions as final preparations ahead of the opening round of the championship.
Team Qatar GT will compete in the GT category in collaboration with Iron Lynx, featuring a strong driver lineup of Abdulla Al Khelaifi, alongside Julian Hanses and Adam Christodoulou.
Following extensive preparations and productive testing, the team is fully focused on delivering a strong performance at the season opener against top international endurance racing competitors.
The European Le Mans Series 2026 calendar includes six rounds across Europe:
Barcelona, Spain – April 10–12
Paul Ricard, France – May 3
Imola, Italy – July 5
Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium – August 23
Silverstone, United Kingdom – September 13
Portimao, Portugal – October 10
With a competitive season ahead, Team Qatar GT aims to make an immediate impact and proudly represent Qatar on the European endurance racing stage.
