The 2024 Pharaohs International Rally and Arab Motorcycle Championship, organized by the Egyptian Motorcycle Federation (EMF), began on Friday morning in Saqqara Area.
Rally competitions began in the first stage, which was held in two rounds of 150 kilometers on a desert track in area adjacent to Pyramid of Saqqara.
The participants were divided to compete in stage in two rounds, preceded by a stage arriving from residence of participants into starting point. The organizing committee, headed by Ibrahim Farid, President of Arab Motorcycle Federation (AMF) and Executive Director of Egyptian Motorcycle Federation (EMF), clearly defined stage’s route for all participants to ensure maximum safety fir all competitors.
The climatic conditions and high temperatures did not affect enthusiasm of competitors coming from ten countries, including Egypt, the host nation of the event.
The competitions will continue on Saturday, when the second stage of the rally will be held for a distance of 150 kilometers in Saqqara Area, comptitors to be honored and prizes distributed to those top positions in all categories for 2024 International Pharaohs Rally or Arab Motorcycle Championship, in a prize giving will take place on Sunday.
