Egypt Motorcycle Rally is set to officially kick off tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Wadi El Rayan, Fayoum Governorate, under supervision of Egyptian Motorcycle Federation, EMF and with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sports. The highly anticipated event brings together a distinguished group of motorcycle riders competing across various categories.
This follows completion of all organizational and technical preparations. Earlier this week, Olympic Center in Maadi hosted medical examinations and technical briefing for all participants, as part of Federation’s and Ministry’s commitment to ensuring highest standards of safety and professionalism before the start of competition.
All riders underwent comprehensive medical checks to confirm their physical fitness and medical readiness for demanding rally stages. The technical briefing reviewed key aspects of the event, including the race regulations, rally routes, safety procedures, timing checkpoints, and results calculation system, with a strong emphasis on strict adherence to technical and organizational guidelines.
The rally will take place over two days, January 29–30, across the challenging terrains of Wadi El Rayan, an area well known for its diverse landscape combining sandy tracks with wide open desert sections. These conditions add a high level of excitement and challenge, testing riders’ endurance, navigation skills, and control of their motorcycles.
Officials from Egyptian Motorcycle Federation EMF stated that Egypt Motorcycle Rally represents a major milestone within Federation’s broader strategy to develop motorcycle sports in Egypt, in cooperation with Ministry of Youth and Sports. This event aims to support emerging talents, raise competitive standards, and align national competitions with regional and international motorsport practices.
In addition to its sporting significance, rally plays an important role in promoting sports tourism, as Wadi El Rayan offers an ideal natural environment for off-road racing and adventure sports. The event also highlights Fayoum’s potential as a prime destination for motorsports and outdoor activities.
Egypt Motorcycle Rally is expected to deliver intense competition and thrilling action, concluding with an awards ceremony to honor winners in various categories, reaffirming Egypt’s growing presence on regional motorsports calendar and continued support of Egyptian Motorcycle Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the development of motorcycle racing in Egypt.
